1966 Chevelle
Lots of work was done to convert this car from a 396/325 HP automatic transmission to a 396/375 HP 4 speed car. The car turned out very nice as you can see from the photos. Check below for more details.
- Switch from automatic to Muncie 4-speed transmission
- Removed 396/325 and built to 396/375 numbers matching blueprinted/balanced 4 bolt main block
- Added Demon 770 CFM Carb, 4340 Steel Crank, 7/16 Rods, SRP Pistons, 10.7 to 1 compression, retangular port GM dated heads
- Replaced points with Crane Electonic Conversion
- Install clutch pedals and weld in Z-Bar Bracket
- Change out console to 4 speed unit with updated clock
- Installed new factory guages in dash and factory correct tachometer
- Block and heads painted with base coat/clear coat
- Engine compartment painted by Romans 8:36 Paint and Body Shop, Greensboro, NC
